Join Speaker, Marge Gibson of the Raptor Education Group, Inc., as she shares her work and stories of rehibilitating birds over 40 years!
Marge Gibson is founder and Director of Raptor Education Group, Inc. (REGI) (www.raptoreducationgroup.org) a wildlife rehabilitation and education and research facility located in Antigo. A former president of the International Wildlife Rehabilitation Council (IWRC) she teaches wildlife rehabilitation classes internationally and maintains an active schedule consulting with wildlife professionals worldwide about avian species. Marge has been active with avian field research, avian rehabilitation and writing for over 40 years and has cared thousands of avian patients from warblers and hummingbirds to Trumpeter Swans and Bald Eagles. Through the years, she has saved and rehibilitated thousands of birds.
In this program, we will be introduced to some of the birds she is currently working with and learn more about the amazing work happening at REGI. This program is free and open to the public.
