About the event

Spring brings so much life to Mead Wildlife Area. Join ALAS as we journey out to the wetland and explore the many species that just arrived or are passing through on spring migration. Mead Wildlife Staff will lead the tour in the Mead Educator Explorer Truck. This tractor/truck has a very large truck bed with a railing all around the back. It is not covered, so please dress accordingly. People will be asked to remain seated.  The truck fits 25 people.  There are a few steps up to get into the back of the truck. There will be some walking involved in this tour, but we will be driving between sites. Please bring snacks or a packed lunch. We will start the tour from the George W. Mead State Wildlife Area Visitor's Center at 201517 County Rd S, Milladore, WI 54454

In the event of heavy rains or thunderstorms, we will postpone the tour a day (Sunday, April 30th). Contact: Susan Schuller 715-340-4877 or Susan.Schuller6@gmail.com.
