The sounds of spring! We enjoy the chorus, but who is behind the beautiful songs? Learn how to identify birds before you see them, a strategy used by many expert birders. Registration not required.
Programs are arranged so families can enjoy self-guided bird-themed crafts and games inside. A local Audubon expert will be available at the bird viewing window to help people with basic birding & ID tips. At 10am, those interested in going for a guided, family-friendly birding hike will depart from the nature center. Binoculars and ID books will be available to borrow.
These programs target ages 5-12 years old, but all ages are welcome. Free and open to the public.
