Presentation: Bridging the Gap Between Black Bear Science and Policy - Jennifer Price

Jennifer Price Tack is a large carnivore and elk research scientist and is the lead decision analyst in the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources' Office of Applied Science. She will share some of her work with black bears in WI, including updates on research to better understand bear reproduction and effectiveness of agricultural damage abatement alternatives. As a DNR scientist, Jennifer’s role is to provide the best available science to inform management of wolves, bears, and elk in Wisconsin. Additionally, she lends her expertise in decision analytics to a wide variety of natural resources problems within the agency.
