About the event

Join us for an overnight camping excursion at one of Wisconsin’s most scenic parks! On May 2-3 ALAS will be exploring the driftless at Wyalusing State Park. This park overlooks the confluence of the Wisconsin and Mississippi Rivers and features 600’ rock faces along with a wide variety of habitats. Some interesting birds call this place home; most notably it is the best spot in the state to find Yellow-throated Warbler! We will bird our way back from the park on Sunday hitting Spring Green Preserve - also known as Wisconsin’s desert.

We will meet at the park headquarters at 7:30AM and bird the park for most of the day. We will have lunch at the boat landing, so be sure to pack enough food and water for the day. After birding Wyalusing, we will head to Prairie du Chien to have a sit down dinner at a local restaurant…
